DIMENSION TECHNOLOGIES INC. Rochester, NY - Aug. 21, 2001 – Dimension Technologies Inc. (DTI) formally announced today that its three dimensional TFT LCD displays are now available for purchase through the General Services Administration catalog. Both the DTI 2015XLS 15.1" display and the 2018XLQ 18.1" display are now listed in the GSA catalog. As defined in FAR 25.101, these are domestic-made end products. The 15" display supports resolutions up to 1024 x 768 pixels, while the 18.1" unit delivers resolutions up to 1280 x 1024. Both displays can provide frame sequential, top/bottom and field sequential stereo viewing formats. DTI displays offer a unique combination of 2D and 3D imaging in both video and computer modes, and are compatible with virtually all PC and workstation platforms. And as with all DTI Virtual Window displays, no clumsy glasses or cumbersome headgear is required. Real 3D images leap off the screen and hang in space without any viewing aids.
