Space Technology Hall of FameDIMENSION TECHNOLOGIES INC.

Rochester, NY – April 13, 2003 – Dimension Technologies Inc. (DTI) announced today that it has been inducted into NASA's Space Technology Hall of Fame. The honor was given for DTI's successful development and commercialization of its Virtual Window line of switchable 2D/3D flat panel displays. NASA calls it "an outstanding example of applying space technology for the betterment of life on Earth."

DTI is one of only six companies in the world to receive this honor this year and one of only 44 companies in NASA's history to earn this prestigious award. Previous NASA Hall of Fame recipients include IBM, the Mayo Clinic, General Electric, Bell Labs, TRW, Exxon, Owens Corning, General Dynamics, Johns Hopkins, Magnavox, Texas Instruments, Motorola, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, McDonnell Douglas, Black & Decker and Rockwell International. Inventions that have been honored in the past include the artificial heart, cordless power tools and the Global Positioning System.

This achievement was honored at the Space Technology Hall of Fame 15th Anniversary Awards Dinner on April 10th in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The awards ceremony included more than 1,000 senior space leaders, and was hosted by the Honorable Sean O'Keefe, NASA Administrator, and Admiral Richard Truly, Director of the National Renewable Energy Lab.

The company had a local celebration of the award Wednesday, April 23rd at DTI headquarters in Rochester. Congressional Representative Louise Slaughter headed up the list of local dignitaries in attendance, along with local media.

Four DTI personnel were inducted into the NASA Hall of Fame: Inventor Jesse Eichenlaub, Researcher Mark Katafiaz, Senior Engineer KwangSoo Park and President Arnold Lagergren.

About the Space Technology Hall of Fame

In 1988, the Space Foundation in cooperation with NASA, established the Space Technology Hall of Fame. Its purpose is threefold: to honor the innovators who have transformed technology originally developed for space use into commercial products; to increase public awareness of the benefits of space spinoff technology; and to encourage further innovation.
