Q: Can I use your display with video cameras?
A: Yes, with the addition of the DTI Video Expansion Box. The best option is to use two cameras with alignment mounts and a time based corrector for synchronization. DTI will be happy to advise you in setting up a camera system, choosing lenses, etc. We have experience with and can configure systems for most applications including stereo microscopy, telephoto work, IR imaging, industrial inspection, telerobotics, remote vehicle driving, and others.
As an alternative for simple consumer video applications, Nu-View makes an attachment that allows field sequential stereoscopic video to be taken with a single consumer camcorder. DTI customers have reported good results with that system.
